RABAT: Kuwaiti athlete Essa Al-Zenkawi has grabbed the gold medal of the discus-throwing contest within the Arab Athletics Championship, which concluded within the Moroccan town of Marrakesh Saturday. Kuwaiti champion Al-Zenkawi scored 59 meters and 20 centimeters, forward of the Qatari thrower Moaz Ibrahim, who scored 59 meters, 11 centimeters, and Egyptian Shehab Abdelaziz who scored 57 meters and one centimeter.
That is the second one gold for Kuwait within the championship after the only received through runner Yaqoub AlYouha within the 110-meter hurdles festival.
