KUWAIT: Kuwait’s nationwide group grabbed two medals, a gold and a silver, on the 5th Arab swimming championship, which opened on Oran town, northwest Algeria, on Wednesday.
Ali Al-Zamel secured the gold medal of the 50 m backstroke race, completing in 25:72 seconds.
Walid Alabd-Errazzaq gained silver within the 100 m. butterfly race, completing in 54:29 seconds. The 5th Arab swimming championship continues for 4 days with 13 nations collaborating.–KUNA
