KUWAIT: Kuwait twenty first World Tennis Federation (ITF) Juniors Event for girls and boys (J30 ALZAHRA) was once concluded below the patronage of President of Kuwait and Arab Tennis Federations Sheikh Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Abdallah Al-Jaber Al-Sabah. The event was once held from sixth till twelfth February 2023 at Kuwait Tennis Federation courts at Sheikh Jaber Al-Abdallah Al-Jaber Al-Sabah World Tennis Advanced. 19 ladies from 13 international locations and 48 boys from 20 international locations participated within the tournament.
The overall fit was once attended by means of the Swiss Ambassador to Kuwait Dr Tiziano Balmelli and Secretary Basic of Arab and Kuwait Tennis Federations Faleh Al-Otaibi. Result of the event have been as follows: Ladies Singles – Winner: Mariella Gelbke (Germany); Runner up: Nawal Youssef (Canada).
Boys Singles – Winner: Massimo Pizzigoni (Italy); Runner up: Oscar Rashed (Switzerland). Ladies Doubles – Winners: Lea Lebo (Croatia) + Zara Stipcevic (Croatia); Runner up: Jannat Chiripal (India) and Nawal Youssef (Canada). Boys Doubles – Winners: Maxwell Lindstedt (Sweden) and Massimo Pizzigoni (Italy); Runner up: Alex Bergomi (Switzerland) and Oscar Rashed (Switzerland).
