KUWAIT: The Undersecretary at Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs Fareed Emadi the day past introduced the result of the winners of the ‘Safwat Al-Awael’ elite Holy Quran festival to make a choice the most efficient amongst first position winners in earlier Holy Quran competitions held in Kuwait. This festival displays the eminent care Kuwait provides to the Holy Quran, Emadi added in a speech he gave all the way through a party held via the Ministry underneath the auspices of the Minister of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs Essa Al-Kandiri.
In the meantime, Assistant Undersecretary on the Ministry for the Holy Quran and Islamic Research, Dr Fahd Al-Janfawi added that the collection of the members are 15 males and 11 girls who gained first position in earlier Holy Quran competitions. The winner of first position amongst feminine members is Taibah Al-Hindi, who gained KD 8,000 (about $26,400), whilst Abdul Rahman Al-Shuai’ gained the primary position a few of the male members, gaining a prize of KD 8,000. —KUNA
