Colombo: Sri Lankan President Gotabaya Rajapaksa, who fled his reliable place of dwelling Saturday to flee an offended mob of protesters, has agreed to step down subsequent week, parliamentary speaker Mahinda Abeywardana mentioned.

“To make sure a relaxed transition, the president mentioned he’s going to step down on July 13,” Abeywardana mentioned in a televised commentary.
