NEW YORK: Visiting Kuwaiti MP Dr Obaid Al-Mutairi mentioned the day before today with a variety of UN officers, tactics and efforts to delist names of a variety of Kuwaiti electorate from UN Safety Council (UNSC) sanctions checklist. Mutairi stated that the visiting Kuwaiti delegation met one after the other with UN Safety Council Ombudsman Secretary Richard Malanjum, in his first assembly since he assumed his UN place. The assembly coated problems relating to requests to boost the names of Kuwaiti electorate from the UNSC sanctions checklist.
The MP added that the delegation held any other assembly on the United Countries headquarters with the top of the sanctions committee established below Answer 1267, Ambassador Trine Heimerback from Norway, for a similar objective. He famous that the delegation held a 3rd assembly, after the UNSC emergency consultation on Ukraine, with the President of the Council, Ambassador Lana Nusseibeh, as a part of ongoing parliamentary and diplomatic efforts on this regard.
Mutairi wired that the State of Kuwait has already fulfilled all related prison necessities and invited the UN Safety Council Ombudsman to consult with Kuwait and meet with its authentic officers to make sure its compliance with comparable UNSC resolutions. – KUNA
