TUNIS: Jenan Al-Shehab, a Kuwaiti feminine engineer, on Friday gained a golden medal on the Global Cup 2022 for Invention and Medical Analysis, in popularity of her invention of electromagnetic cells for wi-fi energy transmission.

Shehab’s invention gained a patent from the USA Patent and Trademark Administrative center (USPTO). The contest, which opened Thursday at the sidelines of the 8th Summit of Tokyo World Symposium on Construction in Africa (TICAD8), collected just about 1,200 inventors.

In statements to KUNA following the announcement of award winners, Shehab mentioned she was once nominated by way of the award by way of the International Common Inventions I.N.C (GOIDI) – a US NGO. She added that she introduced a presentation on her invention to the six-member arbitration panel, noting that the discovery was once the fruit of the electrodes basis she established in Kuwait in 2016.
