Ministry of Health Kuwait announced today on Friday, the Kuwait Coronavirus Updates of May 22, 2020. According to the Ministry of Health, the latest update is as under:

- Cases reported till Date: 19564
- Deaths (last 24-hours): 09
- Total Deaths so far: 138
- Recovered Patients (last 24-hours): 310
- Patients recovered so far: 5515
- Active Cases: 13911
- Total Patients in ICU: 180
- Total Test conducted: +264,959

Following new coronavirus cases are reported due to being in-contact with coronavirus patients:
- 139 cases of Kuwaiti nationals.
- 319 cases of Indian residents.
- 196 cases of Egyptian residents.
- 111 cases of Bangladeshi residents.
- 190 cases of other nationalities.

Review of Today’s Report
Kuwait Coronavirus Updates of May 22, 2020, is almost similar to the one we had seen yesterday. Today we have 955 new cases as compared to yesterday’s 1041 new cases. There are 9 deaths today whereas yesterday there were 5 deaths. The number of ICU cases are decreased from 181 to 180.
Coronavirus state for today is bad as far as deaths are concerned because today we have 9 deaths. Now Govt has to think something different. Workers who rely on daily wages are struggling for food. Even though Govt is helping them but still the majority of expatriates are in a bad condition. Now Govt has to think about adopting something like a smart lockdown. People should be free to do work, to do business and daily normal work but they must be abiding by the health rules strictly to avoid coronavirus.
Coronavirus is such an evil that is spreading in spite of full lockdown. But poor is affecting very badly by full lockdown. So Govt must be thinking to do something for the poor as Govt of Kuwait is the most effective, efficient, and sincere to people. Let us hope and pray for the best.
