Ministry of Health Kuwait announced today on Sunday, the Kuwait Coronavirus Updates of April 26, 2020. According to the Ministry of Health, the latest update is as under:

• New cases reported (last 24-hours): 183
• Deaths (24-hours): 01
• Recovered patients (last 24-hours): 150
• Patients shifted to ICU (last 24-hours): 05
• Patients shifted to Ward (last 24-hours): 01
• Cases reported till Date: 3075
• Patients recovered so far: 806
• Total Deaths so far: 20
• Active Cases: 2249
• Total Patients in ICU: 61

Cases Related to Travel (20)

Detail of new coronavirus cases due to travel is given below:

• 16 cases of Kuwaiti nationals related to travel to the United Kingdom.
• 02 cases of Kuwaiti nationals related to travel to France.
• 01 case of Kuwaiti national related to travel to Belgium.
• 01 case of Indian resident related to travel to France.

In-contact Cases (149)

Following new coronavirus cases are reported due to being in-contact with coronavirus patients:

• 16 cases of Kuwaiti nationals.
• 52 cases of Indian residents.
• 14 cases of Bangladeshi residents.
• 26 cases of Egyptian residents.
• 8 cases of Pakistani residents.
• 9 cases of Syrian residents.
• 5 cases of Yemeni residents.
• 3 cases of residents from each country (Jordan, Lebanon, and Filipino).
• 2 cases of N.K residents.
• 2 cases of Iranian residents.
• 1 case of each country:( K.S.A, Sri Lank, Ethiopia, Iraq, Nepal, Italia).

Other Cases (14)

Coronavirus cases due to reasons other than in-conatct with coronavirus patients and travel, are as follows:

• 9 cases of Kuwaiti nationals.
• 2 cases of Sri Lankan residents.
• 2 cases of Iranian residents.
• 1 case of N.K resident.

Intensive Care Unit (ICU) State (61)

There are 61 patients in the ICU, of which state of patients is as under:

• 31 cases are critical.
• 30 cases are stable.

Death Cases (01):

• Iranian resident, 57 years old.

Review of Today’s Report

Kuwait Coronavirus Updates of April 26, 2020 is not as bad as of yesterday’s because the number of new cases are less than yesterday but still high. Moreover, 150 patients have recovered today that is a very good sign, and there is only one death in the last 24 hours. The number of ICU cases has increased from 58 to 61. The number of critical cases has also increased. The total number of coronavirus patients has increased to 3075, from which 806 have recovered and 2249 are undertreatment.
