Beirut: Kuwait’s Abdullah Al-Ibrahim snatched a gold medal within the below 58-kilograms department, whilst two of his compatriots received bronzes at the opening day of the Lebanon-hosted Arab Taekwondo championship.

Al-Ibrahim’s gold, along with bronzes received by means of Yaqoub Al-Qallaf and Hussain Buftain within the below 54 and 63 kg divisons, respectively, deliver Kuwait’s medal haul to a few to this point, the rustic’s Taekwondo federation leader Hani Al-Mershad informed KUNA.

Some 90 Taekwondo competition from around the wider Arab area are vying for supremacy within the two-day match.
