Worshippers pray for rain in Kuwait

KUWAIT: A number of mosques in Kuwait witnessed the day gone by morning the Istisqaa Prayers (rain-seeking prayers). The prayers, held in supplication to His Almighty Allah for rain, are in keeping with the Prophetic Sunnah. The 2-rakaa prayer is led by means of an imam. The primary rakaa starts with reciting Allaho Akbar seven instances and the second one begins with 5. The worshippers after the prayers are addressed with a sermon, then the imam and the attendees pray to Allah Almighty to bless the rustic with rain. Kuwait has now not witnessed heavy rain this wintry weather as of the day gone by; on the other hand, there were sporadic gentle rainfalls. —Picture by means of Yasser Al-Zayyat
